Marika
has choreographed routines for European and World and
Olympic level competition for over 10 years. Former
coach Betty Callaway was the first to recognise her
creativity.
Widely acknowledged as one of Britain's most
watchable skaters, Marika's creative choreography
stems from her grounding in Classical Ballet and study of
contemporary dance. This has helped her to develop many
successful competitive programmes and memorable
exhibition routines.

programme or want to develop your expressive skills for
the new season, whether you're a dancer, free skater or

Creativity using your strengths to develop optimum
performance.
From music and concept, to
choreography and costume design ideas.
To demonstrate how this
attention to detail can refine a performance below
are two examples. These are styles of choreography and performance dynamic
at opposite ends of the spectrum to show how much
impact an artistry make-over can have.
Anyone can learn a new interpretive style, and
with a little Marika magic......
Also available,
programme cleaning. Working on maximising your
existing routines by improving body alignment, grace
of arm
and body movements and musicality.
Programme
cleaning not only sharpens presentation but also
clarifies patterning allowing the routine to develop
increased speed, flow and depth of edge with greater
ease.
Another benefit
is the clarification of pace throughout a routine,
allowing skaters to learn how to conserve vital
energy for the routines finale.
