Marika and Vitaliy accrued many years of experience as competitors,  both together and with other dance partners.

Together, Marika and Vitaliy won 2 British Championship titles, competing at numerous prestigious international events including European and World Championships. The highlight of their competitive career was representing Great Britain at the Winter Olympic Games in 2002.
